A lot of people are interested in what goes on in a church service if they have never attended that particular church or denomination before. So we would like you to have a brief description of what happens in our services. Just click on the service you are interested in:

In our Celebration/Worship Service:
We have live music and sing songs of praise. Most of our songs are contemporary worship but we love to do the hymns also. So we seek to reach a balance of a time of singing praise/celebration songs and/or hymns and singing worship (usually slower) songs and/or hymns. We feel that singing is a true expression of the soul toward God. We are not just singing words to a melody, but we are trying to say in song what our hearts feel about our God and Savior Jesus Christ. We also try to allow individuals to share what has been happening to them during the week. How has God blessed them, or what do we need to pray with them for. So there is usually a time of interaction in that area that you can participate in IF you wish to.
Oh yes we do clap our hands and some times we even get so carried away that we lift our hands in surrender to God. As you look around you may even see people with their eyes closed as they truly seek to focus on who God is. We feel that celebration time is a time to truly express with decorum and good taste our emotions toward God. AND PLEASE don't worry you will be free to express yourself within good taste also. Whether it is to sit silently or to join us in singing clapping and/or raising your hands. We want you to be able to express your worship to God.
After the singing/sharing time the Word of God is opened. The Bible. The teaching from the pastoral staff comes directly from the Bible and can cover every area of your life. Of course not all at once, but over a years period with the leading of the Holy Spirit what you will hear the Bible say and the pastoral staff expound on can and will touch your life, even changing it if you let it.
In our Bible Study times on
Wednesday* night:
In our Adult/Teen Bible Study we spend time talking about what the Bible says about living life in our world. We usually have a pastor lead, but all participate as we discuss things like family relationships, individual giftedness, how to change things we don't like about ourselves, and anything else the Bible is written about. It is surprising sometimes what the Bible does say concerning things you might have thought it was silent about. We also take time to pray about things that concern us and our world.
The children 3 to 12 years of age meanwhile participate in our Good News Bears Club. They sing and do puppets and study Bible stories and learn scripture and play games, and earn Bear Bucks to spend at the Bear Cave. WOW!! Sometimes the adults say they wish they could be with the Bears!!!
